Our Organic Gunpowder is a bold and full flavoured green tea without being overpowering or bitter - the perfect balance of sweet, refreshing and moreish flavour. As with all our green teas, this tightly rolled tea is made from tea grown in Spring for the freshest flavour.
This robust tea pairs with grilled vegetables, seafood, chicken and pork. Gunpowder tea leaves often stay fresher longer due to their compressed form. This tea is higher in caffeine than most other green teas (35-40 mg/8 oz. serving), packing more punch.

To enjoy, pour 6 ounces simmering water (170 degrees preferred) over one teaspoon tea. Steep 2 to 4 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
